What Is Spirituality Beyond The Physical?
The world has specific laws for everything. These are universal laws, whether spiritual or physical, or psychic and intuitive. They are all part of the many branches of Metaphysics. Everything is ordered, and everything has an order. No matter how much we conjecture that God is dead or absent, we must agree that an infinite intelligence is at work in the Universe’s system of design. Many call this being God and many other names. In the metaphysical realm, this intelligence is called The Universe. All universal laws are simply an extension of its being.
The word Meta means beyond, above, and behind. When we use the term metaphysical, we mean what lies beyond the physical domain. We move into the many facets of the Spiritual Realm. This is often called Spiritual Metaphysics. Many people do not understand that the spiritual, metaphysical, and physical realms are distinct in Nature but are not separate realities. They are simply distinct levels of the same reality.
Metaphysics is the division of conceptual thinking that explores the original nature of all reality. It focuses on the connections between matter, mind, and spirit; form and essence; appearance and substance.
How Does Metaphysics Relate To Psychic Development?
When one delves into the metaphysical and may even call themselves a metaphysician, they open doors that may not fit into traditional thinking. It becomes about what lies beneath the surface of what we can experience with our five basic senses.
We all begin as a spirit in spiritual form before we enter physical reality. Yet everything we are still rests on this true core of who we are: our true nature, Spirit. So when we break from the norm and become interested in the metaphysical, we find a couple of primary areas that people will venture into, which are not necessarily exclusive.

A Survey Of Metaphysics
One area is that of Theology. Theology is the study of God or the gods, angels, the afterlife, psychic abilities, and much more. At first glance, many of these may seem beyond the shared awareness of many. But, for lack of a better name, these mysteries can be and will be unveiled as our true inner senses that spring forth when our Spiritual nature is awakened. However, the more we feel these mysteries unravel, the more intense they can become.
The second is that of the psychic realm. We are each born with as many as 20 psychic abilities that we still have, though they may be dormant. These extraordinary abilities can be awakened and revived from their slumber. These abilities are a metaphysical area that fascinates some, yet feels taboo to others. If you are wondering whether you have psychic abilities and whether they are active, you can test this theory with a tool I created: your free Psychic Ability Quiz.

Key takeaways
Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy that explores the fundamental nature of reality — existence, being, consciousness, and what lies beyond the physical. In spiritual practice, it connects to psychic ability and intuition by treating the mind and spirit as real forces that interact with the material world. In short: metaphysics provides the framework, spirituality provides the lived experience, and psychic intuition is the practical tool for perceiving beyond the ordinary senses.

Really enjoyed the group Meditation, I lost track of time the Meditation was working well for me, I’ve incorporated some of what I learned that night and have picked up the amount of time I meditate. Also really liked the Reading I had after, I keep going back and relistening to the recording you sent me and I keep learning things, that are striking a cord within me. Thank You!
