Beyond the Physical into the Spiritual
In the world, there are specific laws for everything. These are universal laws, whether spiritual or physical, everything psychic and intuitive. They are all part of the many branches of Metaphysics. There is an order in everything, and everything has an order. No matter how much we conjecture that God is dead or absent, we really must agree that there is an infinite intelligence at work in regards to the system of design in the Universe. Many call this being God and many other names. In the realm of the metaphysical, this intelligence is called The Universe. All the universal laws are just a simple extension of its being.
The word Meta means beyond, above, and behind. When we use the term Metaphysical, it is about what is beyond the physical domain. We move into the many facets of the Spiritual Realm. It is referred to as Spiritual Metaphysics. Many people do not understand that the spiritual, metaphysical, and physical realms are distinct in Nature but are not separate realities. They are just distinctive levels of identical realities.
Metaphysics is the division of conception thinking that explores the original nature of all reality. It focuses on the connection between matter, mind and spirit, form and essence, appearance, and substance.
Metaphysics And Psychic Development
When one delves into the metaphysical and may even call themselves a metaphysician, they open doors that may not fit into traditional thinking. It becomes about what lay beneath the surface of what we can experience with our five basic senses.
We all begin as a spirit in spiritual form before we are brought into physical reality. Yet everything we are is still based upon this true core of who we are, our true nature, Spirit. So when we break from the norm and become interested in the metaphysical, we find a couple of primary areas that people will venture into, which are not necessarily exclusive.

A Survey Of Metaphysics
One area is that of Theology. This theology would be considered studying God or the gods, angels, afterlife, psychic abilities, and much more. Many of these, at first glance, maybe beyond the shared awareness of many. But, for the lack of a better name, these mysteries can be and will be unveiled as our true inner senses that spring for our Spiritual nature is awakened. However, the more we feel that these mysteries are unraveled, the more intense they can become.
The second is that of the psychic realm. There are as many as 20 psychic abilities that we each are born with and still have, yet maybe a little dormant. These extraordinary abilities can be awakened and revived from their slumber. These abilities are an area of metaphysics that is really interesting to some and yet taboo to others.
