What Is Channeling?
Channeling spirit is one of the psychic abilities of a Medium. Learning how to channel Spirits may sound like a daunting task. However, you may be surprised to hear that you are all spirit channelers. I say this because channelers connect the physical world, this reality, with the spirit realm. They bring Spirit here into the body.
You have done the same. You are Spirit in human form. So you are channeling your own Spirit. You and mediums can do this because Spirit has no boundaries when it comes to time and space. They can be anywhere, anytime. This channeling allows them to occupy human bodies.

How Does Channeling Work
You may be familiar with some of the more famous mediums, such as James van Pragh, Betty Shine, and Sylvia Brown. These mediums can receive messages and pass them along to you during readings. Yet, their consciousness will never leave their body.
A channel will allow their personal Spirit and consciousness to leave their physical body to enable the spirit to take over their bodies. In this case, the Spirit will speak directly to its audience, you, or a group of people.
Some of the more renowned channels are J.Z. Knight, Ramtha’s channel, Jane Roberts, Seth’s channel, and Edgar Casey, the sleeping prophet, who left his physical body to procure messages for individuals and humankind in general.
What Is the Purpose Of Spirit Channeling?
There are many reasons that you may want to communicate with those beyond the veil. The most obvious, of course, is to connect with deceased loved ones. This connection is personal. Channelers will work for an individual looking for a specific message from a particular spirit.
However, they are also usually used by Spirit to bring messages to groups of people for their higher good. Some do the same, but for the world, all of humankind.
Learning How To Channel Spirit
If you have lost someone close to you, a friend or loved one, the desire to contact them is not uncommon. You can do this using your psychic ability of mediumship. You accomplish accessing your mediumship through deep meditation, which connects to your higher self, your Spirit.
However, channeling is a little more complicated. I say this because when you begin to learn how to channel spirits, you need to learn how to release your consciousness to allow Spirit to take over your physical form. This release takes guidance. It can be overwhelming for many. I would recommend you to find a spiritual teacher, like myself, who can guide you on this exciting journey.

- N.K.B – Are deceased people that enter your space intentionally trying to sabotage you, or do they not know better?
- J.P. – Several people have told me that my crown chakra is very open. However, I am not sure exactly what that means and how I can use this to develop my psychic abilities. I feel like I am on the brink of discovering what these abilities are, but I am not sure how to finally get there.

I was meditating and using automatic writing and unexpectedly connected with a female tourist who was murdered in NZ 3 weeks earlier. I also wonder whether to make contact with her family in the UK or whether that’s intrusive.
- Light Surfer , so trans mediumship could also happen at, e.g., rock concerts?
- A.B.C. – How would you close that chakra down?
- A.B.C. – I had great emotional pain, which led me to chakra meditation in March of this year. I then started getting into Qigong, And now I find I can’t feel my chakras anymore. Why is this?
- S. – I read recently that Edgar Cayce named the third eye chakra as the 7th chakra and the crown chakra as the 6th chakra. Do you know why he did this?
- N.K.B. – I see little transparent dots in my vision throughout the day, especially when looking at the sky. They started a couple of months ago. Right around the time, I began to dive into spirituality more profound. I haven’t been taking care of my health lately, so I’m not sure if this is just a health symptom or if it’s something spiritual.
- High Priestess Illumination – They are in a different country, and the mother has become very depressed, and I wondered if it could lift her.
- SG – When I talk to my ancestors at my altar, how can I know if they can hear me?
