Are You In Pain, Hurting In Any Manner?
Whether your pain is mentally, emotionally, or physically based it can be a nightmare. Many times your suffering is rooted in repressed and unresolved emotions like strong feelings of anger. These old wounds can be buried deep within you and suppressed for years. So the answer is in learning how to release repressed emotions.
You are probably not even fully aware that you are repressing these pent up emotions and carrying this unwanted baggage. Repression is not healthy.
We have discussed the use of alternative natural methods to heal forms of trapped emotions and energy blocks to attain optimum health. Energy healing, spiritual alignments such as chakra and aura healing. One emotional release technique we have not discussed in detail is EFT Therapy.
What Is EFT Tapping Therapy?
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is an innovative and effective approach to healing your emotional and physical pain and illness. It is a noninvasive therapy created by Gary Craig that uses fingers to excite energy points on your body. It is much like acupressure or acupuncture but much less uncomfortable. It is very relaxing. It is almost a form of soft massage.
EFT tapping, as it is called, is a simple technique that you can learn easily and can be conducted practically anywhere. This method evolved from the concept that negative emotions are an energy disturbance in your body. These energy disturbances can affect your wellbeing. Gary realized that learning how to release trapped emotions is critical to the individuals’ health and welfare.
How Does EFT Work?
EFT is quite a simple process carried out with a few simple steps. It is carried out by tapping on specific EFT energy points on the body. These acupressure meridians can be used to release blocks in your energy system. These blocks are not unlike a dam in a river. Once you open the flood gates, removing the blocks that are keeping you stuck, held back from happiness and health, the problematic emotional blockages can be cleared thus being allowed to move through your body. This helps the emotional issue to dissipate hence alleviating the specific suffering or pain associated with it.
These processes begin simply by naming the issue and creating a declaration of the unresolved issue. This would involve a complete recognition and acceptance of the issue at hand. This is very important. You must name the problem and accept it before you can resolve it. You are at war with your emotions or should I say that they are at war with you. This acceptance must occur before the battling will cease.

How Long Does It Take EFT Tapping To Work?
This acceptance is often the most difficult part of the process. Naming the enemy in an exact format. Then giving in a manner to activate the release. This is a statement of acceptance. This will be repeated out loud three times as a series of EFT tapping movements is carried out. This will then be repeated until the fear associated with the issue is rousted and dissipates.
This whole process can take minutes and the result is almost immediate. In some cases, it may take more than one session because a single issue may be rooted in several different fear foundations. Each of these may not be recognized immediately.
How Does EFT Work?
Your fears and problems are linked by an energy chain in essence and can be painful. Every time you feel a certain feeling fear comes up. This is part of your belief system and is reflected in your energy system and brain function. It is a bit like the autonomic reactions you have that were learned during your life. For instance, would you put your hand directly on a stove element? No, you would hesitate and test the heat. This something that was learned as a youth when you first reached for the burner and your Mother shocked you into stopping.
This is a positive case example. A protective mechanism was created. Now take the scenario of bringing home art in your early school days. If it was negatively criticized you may never want to draw again. Every time you picked up a paintbrush or crayon fear and other negative emotions would surge through you. Drawing and criticism are linked and the result is a pain in some format, physical, emotional, or mental.
Are There EFT Tapping Side Effects?
The answer to that is a definitive no. EFT is a very powerful way to break the pathways connecting your negative emotions and the resulting pain or fear. The limiting beliefs that were created around these stimuli can be altered and eliminated resulting in a confident, more powerful sense of self. The beautiful part of emotional freedom technique training and usage is that you need no special tools or a specific location such as an office. It is a completely stand-alone process that anyone can carry out anywhere at any time. The simplicity of it allows you to take custody of managing your emotional disposition. You can carry out tapping for anxiety and depression or anything else you may need to dissipate on your own.
How To Release Repressed Emotions Using EFT
Each emotion you have has a purpose however if you repress them, bottle them up, they can be harmful and unhealthy causing stress and other symptoms that. This all happens on an unconscious basis.
