There are so many people battling depression and anxiety and fear. I know I see many of them in my practice. It is sad to see another soul in pain. I really do all I can do to help them. The interesting thing is that I really am helpless in a way. I can guide them and give them an energy healing but it is really up to them. Becoming aware of the knowledge it takes of how to overcome anxiety and depression is readily available to anyone. So what are the steps to overcome anxiety, fear, and even depression? These emotions are in all of us. The main thing about these is that they don’t live in the present. Let me explain.
When you have fear or anxiety it is usually about something that may happen in the future. So the threat may seem real but it isn’t. Depression usually is seated in the past and has to with events that have attacked your being. Much of these are feelings about your sense of self-worth that have been programmed into you by someone else. To get rid of anxiety naturally or any of the other negative emotions is to get into the present. Just keep yourself here and now. This actually works. There are ways to do this. The best way to stay in the present and overcome anxiety and fear is to create a meditation practice. Meditation has the power to bring you to the here and now. This is just one of the techniques. “I have a question from C and her question is; will I overcome my anxiety and my depression. The card that came up (the card is displayed on the screen) for you is acceptance. So it looks like to overcome your anxiety and depression there is a practice of self-acceptance that can help you. Let’s take a look. I’m seeing that the anxiety and depression have to do with never being satisfied. What I mean by that is you’re now being stuck in the past and the problems of the past. Blaming the past for some of the situations you find yourself in now. That is depressing to the body because the body can only be in the present time.
If you focus a lot on the past it really depresses that energy. If you worry about the future then also the body can’t be in the future and it becomes anxious. A practice of being mindful of being in the present moment and of nonjudgment would help. Not judging yourself and your life. Not being perfect and letting go of expectations. How you’re supposed to be and judging when you don’t measure up to how you think it’s supposed to be. That something is wrong.
Get rid of all of that. Just be in the moment and be in acceptance of the moment, as it is. Be an acceptance of yourself as you are. I’m seeing that that practice of being in the present moment and being in a space of a loving vibration towards yourself is the recipe to overcome anxiety and depression. You can make it happen.
