Have you ever been searching for the meaning, the purpose of your life asking yourself deep questions like “how do I find my path in life”? You are definitely not alone. This is a very common search and question that everyone goes through at some point. Choosing a path in life can be difficult especially choosing the right path, that beautiful path that brings happiness, love, and complete satisfaction. No one has ever had one of those rosy lives where nothing is a challenge simply because that is not why we are here. We are spiritual beings that are having a human experience. You have heard that before. One of the experiences is having a body and in turn, having a life and emotional challenges.
The human experience is filled with different paths, some spiritual paths, and some human paths, and it is our individual choice to follow some of these. The truth is that there is no such thing as finding the right path in life, the ultimate, the only Right Path. Life paths and journeys are fraught with adventure and misadventure. Again that is why we are here, to experience these. I am not saying you will not find the right path. What I am saying is that to find that you may have to give a few a try. Life is a little like a maze. To get to the center sometimes, you may make the wrong turn. However, if you keep going you will get to the center.
Once you get to the center, then guess what? You have to find your way out, low and behold another path. It is all part of the wonderful thing called life. A word of advice, stretch out a hand for help occasionally or offer a helping hand because as Einstien states in one of his famous quotes, “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” Sometimes we need help. “A very, very common question that I am asked is; what is my purpose, what is my true life purpose, what’s my life purpose, what’s my sole purpose, what’s my life mission, why am I here on this planet, what did I come to do, in fact, it is the top question I get. A huge percentage of the questions that people write to me is some version of that so it’s a really, really, really important question for people, so I wanted to do a general session about that question. when people ask that question what they mean is what’s unique and special about me, what’s my contribution to humanity on this planet. I will address that in a moment but from my perspective, there’s more than one purpose and everyone’s soul has a purpose.
Everyone that’s here in a human body having the human experience has the purpose that we might call enlightenment. Everyone has the purpose that we might call becoming an awakened human which means you’re not your physical body. You are spirit right! We say you have a soul. You are your soul. You are spirit and as Spirit, you have created a physical body as a vehicle to experience physical reality to have some very focused experiences to expand and grow in consciousness. One might say another purpose is to expand and grow in consciousness.
The purpose of all humanity is to become an awakened human so that I am present and consciously awakened aware as Spirit within my physical body. It is me the spirit that is guiding life as opposed to the biological unit of the physical body which has a consciousness of its own running the life from its emotions and its sex drive and its intellect. So purpose number one is enlightenment, becoming an awakened human connecting body and spirit so that they are running in harmony.
