Do You Portray Who You Really Are?
C J asks the question, what can I do to stay authentic?
Dr. Lesley’s Free Card Reading Re: Spirituality
So what is an authentic person? Do you have the characteristics of an authentic person? If you really look at these questions you will most probably come up with the answers. Being an authentic person means that you are being the real you. Who is the real you, you may ask? And how is that ‘you’ able to be so authentic? You most probably really want to know how to be authentic? This may or may not come as a surprise to you.
The real you is not the person that looks back at you in the mirror. The real you is the being at your core. Your true essence is a Spirit Being, your Higher Self that has taken this human form. Your human form is flighty, it has an ego, and it is limited by time and space. Your Spirit is not! Your Spirit is all about being genuine and sincere. So how do access this wonderful alter ego? You meditate. Your ground and center yourself to eliminate some of these inferior states such as an overactive ego. Grounding is the first and by far the easiest technique to connect to your higher self. I speak to this in this free card reading response. “I have a question from C.J. Who wants to know; what can I practice daily to help me be and stay authentic even though I work in a thrift store that is Christian based and that’s not my belief? Thank you very much for your question C.J. I really like your question because it allows me to talk about grounding. What a funny coincidence that that was the card (the card is shown on the screen) that was completely drawn at random to answer your question. Grounding is a spiritual technique that I teach. If you only learn one spiritual technique in your life, learn to ground, because it can help you so much. It can transform your life. I’ll explain what it is.
I’ll explain how to do it. By the way, there are podcasts on my website https://drlesleyphillips.com about this spiritual technique called grounding. There are also some complimentary meditations you can download that teach you how to ground as well. But in brief, you can do it in meditation or you can do it while you’re going about your ordinary daily activities. When you first learn it you may want to do it while you’re meditating so you can get used to it. Basically what you do is you create a flow of energy that goes from near the base of your spine to the center of the earth. If you know about the chakra system what you’re doing is you’re grounding from the first chakra to the center of the earth. So C.J. for you and everyone else watching this video…”Watch the video, What Can I Do To Stay Authentic, and learn more about this issue.
