Forgiving someone who hurt you can be a really difficult thing to do especially when someone hurts you deeply. Yet when you carry the burden of hate or anger, which is what you feel when you can’t forgive like it or not, it can really weigh you down. This even truer when it is someone that you feel has offended you, and you are in a relationship with them. It works the same with family. A family is a little different because you chose your friends and lovers but you didn’t choose your family. You sort of got stuck with them.
Yet the steps to forgiveness are still the same. Digging deep for exactly how to forgive someone who hurt you intentionally is a growing experience. First of all, it doesn’t come from the intellect, the mind. It comes from your true nature, the spirit. The spirit, who you are at your core, forgives all and everyone without question. Whether it is forgiving another individual or forgiving yourself it is all the same. Love needs to occur. Learning how to forgive and let go is a blessing you are actually giving yourself. ” K. Says; should I forgive my aggressive brother. The card that came up (the card is shown on the screen) is unique, celebrate your differences. That’s a good card for that question. I’m seeing that you’re stuck on right and wrong. Stuck on needing to be right and needing him to be wrong. Um, so you’re not accepting his uniqueness. You’re judging his differences. Judging that vibration of non-forgiveness and judgment, it’s not a vibration of light or so it would seem. I would never tell you what to do. I would never tell you what you know.
Well, I will just suggest that in the forgiveness you lighten up. In the forgiveness, you set yourself free. In the forgiveness, you celebrate your uniqueness and his uniqueness. You allow him to be different than you. You allow him to have a different perspective than you. And guess what? every single human being on this planet is connected and has a unique perspective. We are, none of us, the same. often we band together and try to merge and be the same in different groups but we’re not the same.
We’re unique. Each human is a unique aspect of God as a jigsaw puzzle. You know you’ve got a different piece than I’ve got and that your brother has. We all fit together and create this thing called humanity but we’re different. We each have a different perspective. Only God is whole. God is everything but you’re a piece of everything.
