What Is The Concept Of Time Really?
Before we can discuss the idea or answer the interesting question is it possible to travel back in time we need to look at Time itself. What is time as a concept? This illusion quote by Albert Einstein stated about a friend’s death “Now he has departed from this strange world a little ahead of me. That means nothing. People like us, who believe in physics, know that the distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.”
Not only did he believe that time did not exist he believed that there was more to us, human beings, than just this “mortal coil”.
I agree. You are Spirit. You have a body. The interesting thing about Spirit is that it exists outside of time and space. Your body exists within time and space. These are two key differences between body and spirit. An awakened human focuses within time and space through the body, without being completely limited by it, and while remaining aware of his/her multi-dimensional nature. Again something added by Albert Einstein on time:
“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”
The Concept Of Time As Explained Science
Physicists define time as the progression of events from the past to the present into the future. We exist in a 3-D reality of space, where we can measure length, height, width. Time introduces a 4th dimension, where we can measure how things change from one moment to the next. We measure the passage of our lives through time. We watch the days, months and seasons go by. We work from 9-5 during the week and use Time to measure how well we are progressing. We take the weekend off and have leisure time. We talk about our age, make assumptions about what our bodies should look like based on how much time has passed. While meaningful to the body, all of this is irrelevant to Spirit.

Is Time Real, Timelessness
According to physics, if a system doesn’t change, it is timeless. Spirit exists in the realm of timelessness and oneness. The oneness of spirit contains everything, including all possible moments in the quantum field of infinite possibilities. Spirit creates a physical body within time and space to experience separation from the oneness. So that it can experience the results of its actions reflected. So that it can make choices and operate from free will. This is experience is not possible in the timeless realm of spirit. Here everything is instant. There is no gap between thought and reaction.
Is It Possible To Travel Back In Time?
Is time linear? Physics equations work just as well whether Time is moving forward into the future (positive time) or backward into the past (negative time). Yet we only experience it as moving forward. The question of why time is irreversible is one of the biggest unresolved questions in science. In fact, Spirit can move back and forth through time, but your body does not seem to be able to do so. Your body is always is right here right now. The mind being linear perceives you move forward through the arrow of time.
Is Time Travel Possible And Quantum Jumping
Spirit has the full perspective of infinite possibilities. Spirit recreates the body in each unique moment of now. How big of a leap you take depends on what you believe is possible. You can jump timelines and cross over into different moments with a different past and likely future projection without ever knowing it happened. Your life story has been a series of consecutive now moments, spread out through the quantum field of infinite possibilities. From Spirits’ perspective, they all exist simultaneously. From your perspective, your consciousness is traveling through them moment by moment to create a sequence of the story of your life.
Time Does Not Exist Or Does It
Exactly what is time? We synchronize our watches and agree on reference points in time so we can meet up and make progress. Yet, clocks in orbit, record time more slowly than those on Earth. According to Einstein’s theory of relativity, time is relative and depends on the frame of reference of an observer. The time between events becomes longer (dilated) the closer one travels to the speed of light. Moving clocks run more slowly than stationary clocks, with the effect becoming more pronounced as the moving clock approaches light speed. Add to that the awakened human being who is traveling in time and you get personal stories of time dilation as the human is creating their reality as they go.
Is Time Travel Real?
Here is a little time travel theory supported scientifically. Astronauts on the space station jump forward in time when they return to Earth, as the Earth moves slower relative to the station. They haven’t shown to be able to backward time travel. We can even theorize space travel scenarios where people come back to Earth far in the future from when they left. There are temporal paradoxes in traveling back in time, that don’t jive with our understanding of causality. Such as the “grandfather paradox,” which says if you travel back in time and kill your own grandfather you will never exist. These problems go away with a quantum field perspective, or where there are parallel universes.
Time Perception and the Human Brain
The human brain tracks time through the pineal gland and an area in the hypothalamus (called the suprachiasmatic nucleus). These areas are involved in circadian rhythms and the physiological responses to external conditions, such as light and dark, hot, and cold. Neurotransmitters and drugs can, therefore, alter the perception of time. Chemicals that cause neurons to fire more quickly speed up time. Those that decrease neuron firing slow down time perception. You may have noticed time flies when you are having fun and slows down during emergencies.
The Science Of Time
Scientists believe that when time seems to speed up, the brain is noticing more events within an interval, meaning there is more content than usual and this gives the impression of things moving faster. This explains why older people perceive time as moving faster than the older they get. The brain forms more memories of new experiences than of familiar ones. Since fewer new memories are built later in life, time seems to pass more quickly.
When time slows down, on the other hand, scientists believe this relates to the amygdala becoming more active. The amygdala is the memory center of the brain. As more memories form, time seems drawn out.
Meditation, Intuition, And Time
Meditation alters the brain, both temporarily during meditation and long term in those with a consistent meditation practice. Meditation can alter the experience of time through different brain states. Meditation can also open a doorway to the eternal realm by connecting you to Spirit. You can enter states of timelessness and oneness. You can also consciously create your future, heal the past, and observe the past and future using your intuitive faculties which give you a window into the perspective of spirit, which is outside of time and space.
So to answer the question we first stated is it possible to travel back in time it all depends on which perspective you take and whether you believe the concept of time is real, to begin with.
