Midas Tree

The Midas Tree is my first novel, soon to be published.

It is a mystical realm where spiritual beings and animals live together in relationship to one another and their environment. Our hero, Joshua, is drawn into this mystical realm from his home in the garden of color and light. The book follows Joshua’s adventures in the Midas Tree as he grows and learns about his life and destiny in this new world, as he searches for a way back home to his spiritual parent Morfar and the garden of color and light.

Joshua and his journey are analogous to each human’s journey toward spiritual enlightenment. The Midas Tree is planet earth and the creatures and spiritual beings that live there are teachers and guides. They teach Joshua how to meditate and use spiritual techniques to help him on his mission to return home.

Pre-order the Midas Tree

The Midas Tree was given to me as a vision.

I have known for many years that I would become a writer, but not what I would write. So knowing I was ready, one evening I did some very deep meditations that took me to a very wise part of myself that knew exactly what to write. That night I could not sleep at all because ideas were pouring into me about this book that I was to write.  By morning I had an outline of the book. I felt so excited and I could not wait to write. I knew I was right on my purpose .

To write the book I would sit quietly while the story played to me as though I was watching a movie screen. All I had to do was watch and listen and write as the story unfolded before my eyes. I found I was able to stop at any place in the story and resume at the same place whenever I liked. There was never any writers block because the story was already created in its entirety. All I had to do was bring it in to physical manifestation by writing it down.  I like a reader who could not wait to see what would happen next.

As I was writing I was aware of the many layers of information and meaning that are embedded in the story. They are all layers of information that I as a person know. However, I don’t believe I could have woven such magic had I used my intellectual mind to figure it all out.
