I am a Meditation Teacher, Spiritual Counselor and Energy Healer.
I have many years experience providing meditation and healing classes and workshops, as well as intuitive readings and healing to hundreds of satisfied clients. I focus on helping people increase their self awareness so that they are empowered to consciously take charge of their lives. I also paint and write for fun. I am the creator of Portico Soul Essence Cards, a card deck meant to help open the intuition and creativity of its users. I’m also the author of a spiritual novel, called “The Midas Tree.”
I am at my happiest when I am being of service, whether at a speaking engagement, teaching a meditation class, giving a healing or providing a reading or intuitive counselling session to a client.
My Spiritual Training
Much of my spiritual training was at the CDM Spiritual Teaching Center, where I was mentored by renowned 
author andspeaker Mary Ellen Flora. I graduated from the Center’s 14 month teacher training program in 2005 and taught classes and workshops for CDM Vancouver between June 2004 and May 2010. I have taught private and corporate meditation workshops since 2007. Recent clients include Amica Mature Lifestyles, Ministry of Children and Family Development, Provincial Health Services Authority, various community centers, as well as many private groups.
I also completed a two year clairvoyant training program that included spiritual counseling from the CDM Spiritual Teaching Center in 2003. This required taking classes in many areas of personal growth, as well as completing 400 hours of intuitive reading sessions and many more healing sessions with clients. I have taken all of the Centers classes in meditation, healing, kundalini and women’s programs. As an ordained minister I qualify to perform ceremonies such as weddings, christenings and funerals.
I am also a graduate of Orin & DaBen’s light body, manifesting and transcending your ego courses.
Before coming to Canada in 1998 I was a student at the School of Insight and Intuition, Richmond UK, where I trained in meditation, healing and clairvoyance with Rupert and Julie Soskin. I was also a member of The Rainbow Bridge Dream Work Group where under the guidance of Elizabeth Richards I explored dream incubation, dream re-entry, astral travel, shamanic journeying and dream symbol interpretation. Earlier in my spiritual journey, before seeking mentors who helped me develop my skills, I received much guidance and experienced many premonitions through my dreams, having kept a dream diary since childhood.
My Scientific Training
My background also includes a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from John Moore’s University, Liverpool UK and a PhD in Natural Product Discovery from Warwick University UK. I gained over twenty years experience in the life-sciences industry, working initially as a research scientist and then expanding my expertise into marketing, communications and business development. I have worked for a wide range of international pharmaceutical and medical device companies as well as for two non profit associations. Curious to know more about this side of me?
